With great pleasure We would like to inform you that the  Energy Efficiency Agency of RS gave  special award to CEDEF,  for a significant contribution to the mission of improving awareness of the importance of energy efficiency in Serbia, recognizing CEDEFs perennial involvement in this important area.

During the  2011 CEDEF was realized about 30 projects and activities:

2 expert trainings for energy managers,

2 award ceremonies of professional training certificates,

2 study tours for energy managers,

2 researches,

2 international forums where the panelists was a representative of CEDEF,

2 international forums in which CEDEF was the participant,

7 conferences,

3 panel discussions for the Press,

3 prize contests for the Press,

3 awards ceremonies for journalists prize contests

In the past several years ,topics of energy efficiency were increasingly appearing in public, in professional area and even wider in the other areas. These were the words of Bojan Kovačić in the name of Energy Efficiency Agency of RS .”Even if  there is sometimes lack of understanding, interests of diferent social structures for many aspects of energy efficiency are evident. Role of the state is to guide general efforts, creating preconditions for activities of all partners of interest in this area.In this sense,we should observe the various elements to improve energy efficiency in Serbia, of which one of the most important is to promote and raise awareness. Central European Forum for Development was awarded with a special award by Energy Efficiency Agency for significant contribution to the mission of improving awareness about importance of energy efficiency in Serbia”, Explains Kovačić.

With this CEDEF became the fourth winner of this prestigious award together with assoc. Thermal Engineers of Serbia, Municipality Varvarin and Radio Belgrade.

CEDEF as the most active organization in promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy sources, its program implements through the following instruments:

Researches, studies and publications, advocacy of certain attitudes toward regulators or the public, through professional meetings, trainings, campaigns, and all through an intensive media promotion.
