CEDEF participated in the event “Open Days – European Week of Regions and Cities”, held in Brussels from 10th to 13th October 2011. In nine years of its existence, this event has become a key annual regional forum that allows participants from all over Europe to present and share their experiences in implementing EU cohesion policy.

The participants of the European Week of Regions and Cities in Brussels were representatives of regional public authorities, private companies, financial institutions, international associations and academia. This year, forum was organized in the form of workshops and debates and its main focus was related to the question of a new generation of cohesion policy programs that will be implemented after 2013.
